"This semester has been great. It's nice to be able to fellowship and hang out with and study with fellow college students who share the same beliefs. Big College Tuesdays were a nice break in the week to remind me of what is most important."

"The Tuesday night devos, Hot Topics class, movies on the lawn, and just going out to eat after services gave me a chance to bond with people around my age that share the same beliefs and goals. That's something that is hard to find."

"I really enjoyed meeting other Christians that were also in college and experiencing the same things that I am going through. Although I do not live here in the summer, I am looking forward to coming back to the ETSU community not only to continue my education, but to come to a place where I know God's Word will be opened, studied, and spread throughout the community."

Our Spring Break Mission trip is set for March 3-10 of 2007. We will be going to a town near San Jose to help a small congregation with their VBS. Start deciding now if you would like to go. It will cost around $1000 to go and you will need to start writing support letters soon. The deadline to decide whether you are going will be September 12th, the second Big Tuesday of the semester. You will also need to have paid at least $500 toward the trip by the end of the fall semester. This is going to be a great experience, I hope everyone gets to come!

What a great trip! 12 members of CSO went to Chalmette, LA to assist with the clean up effort in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. We worked hard but everyone had a great time growing closer to each other! Check out the new pics added to the site!

CSO stands for two things. First, CSO is Central's Student Outreach. This ministry of the Central church of Christ in Johnson City was established in in order to provide outstanding support to campus communities in Northeast Tennesee. We aim to do this through service projects, evangelism and community support.

CSO also stands for Christian Student Outreach @ ETSU. Established by ETSU students, CSO @ ETSU is a student organization for members of the church of Christ who attend ETSU. CSO @ ETSU supports Central's Student Outreach, but CSO @ ETSU is an ETSU student organization.

Make sure and take advantage of the College House. Stop by to use one of the computers hooked up to high speed internet, or bring your laptop and log on wirelessly! Feel free to use the printer as well. There are always cold soft drinks in the fridge, and it is a great place to hang out in between classes, to shoot pool, play ping pong, shoot basketball, play xbox, or just meet up friends. Stop by anytime at 708 W. Maple Street.
